What residential services are available to provide community-based rehabilitation programmes for tetraplegic patients discharged from hospital/medical rehabilitation centre?
Transitional Care and Support Centre for Tetraplegic Patients (TCSC) provides time-defined and goal-oriented community-based rehabilitation programmes to tetraplegic patients discharged from hospital/medical rehabilitation centre to facilitate their return to community living with a view to improving their physical, cognitive, communicative, behavioural, psychological and social functioning in a non-medical setting. Training and support services will also be provided to family members or carers of the patients to strengthen their caring capacity.
